Lintel Replacement

A lintel is a horizontal support of timber, stone, concrete, or steel across the top of a door or window. It can be a load-bearing building component, a decorative architectural element, or a combined ornamented structural item.

Damaged lintels may result in structural cracks and instability including water penetration thus it can be very challenging to replace.

With OneVision's lintel replacement process, stainless steel bars and/or ties are bonded into the brickwork using either resin or grout to create a masonry lintel. Support systems of this nature are cost effective and provide the strength and rigidity necessary to enable the installation of replacement uPVC windows and doors.

New lintels will give longer life to the masonry. We can install Helifix dry-wall ties and replace concrete or steel lintels.
